Wharton Arboriculture was established in 2007 by Peter Wharton to provide independent, high quality professional advice, on arboriculture, urban forestry and tree management.
Our knowledge and understanding of trees, planning and management is applied to all projects, from one-off site assessments to the long term management of trees for health and safety reasons or to assist with planning and development processes.
Although a young company Wharton Arboriculture has developed a strong client base not only in the Midlands but also in other areas of the UK, and within both the public and private sectors. We have been able to expand the business because of our ability to respond quickly to contacts and our willingness to travel to meet clients to discuss their requirements and then provide a comprehensive and efficient service which is both cost effective and innovative.
A large part of our work involves advising on tree retention on new development schemes so that buildings can blend sympathetically with the wider landscape and reduce the conflict between trees and buildings. Therefore we have developed strong relationships with architects, structural engineers, planning consultants, developers and landscape architects.
Also we have worked to develop new client relationships with land and estate managers developing tree management solutions which are reasonable and practical.
Our consultants have considerable experience of working in both the public and private sectors, and so we have understanding of the perspectives of both parties. This helps us to provide balanced and realistic advice and mutually acceptable solutions.
Wharton Arboriculture currently holds £1,000,000 professional indemnity insurance and £10,000,000 public liability insurance. Full details of these policies are available on request.
Wharton Arboriculture does not undertake tree maintenance work; however, we are able to provide details of companies who do. All recommendations are of suitable qualified and competent contracts who will undertake all works to a high standard and follow arboricultural industry best practice.
